"Caring Mask" Action

COVID-19 is spreading out all over the world. Also, Hong Kong has several cases and appearing the seriousness. HKASF notice everyone should reduce outdoor activities to protect yourselves, and also your family and other citizen. Furthermore, this is a responsibility of every citizen.

At the same time, the shortage of surgical masks makes many citizens feel helpless. We are upset to see some of citizen line up to purchase in bad weather.

The shortage and the inflation of surgical masks bounder the minorities to fulfil their needs. We wish you all be calm and believe the supply will be normal soon. However, the disabled-person and their families always left behind. After this few weeks, we built up a relations with our partners of previous events to help those disabled-families on time. The most important is mentally assistance is more difficult to handle than physical.

"One Click Care" Platform aims to serve disabilities, People with Special Needs and their families including Rare Diseases patients. After a long discussion, we successfully purchase 1000 boxes (50,000 pieces) of masks and distribute to One Click Care member for free.

A Pandemic makes us scared, a mask make us anxious.

For us, it is a promise to help everyone fight with the virus. To be frank, HKASF do not know how difficult it is and underestimate the possibility. We spent one month to operate the entire process including those difficulties and problems. It is complicated to tell how harsh we had faced as well.

With this unbeatable spirit, we finally purchase this batch of masks from Brazil and will distribute via One Click Care Platform to over 300 members.

Besides, we are not only give our assistant to One Click Care member. In the meantime, HKASF distribute almost 32,000 piece of masks to Special School, Hostel for Disabilities, Sheltered workshop and other service organizations. The beneficiaries are below,
